This is FDW’s answer to the small-kitchen dining problem: a complete table-for-four that costs less than most single designer chairs. The set pairs a rectangular glass-top table with four chairs upholstered in faux leather over cushioned seats, drawn with the lean legs and clean angles of mid-century modern. The proportions are deliberately compact — this is a set sized for apartment kitchens, breakfast nooks and dining corners rather than formal dining rooms.
The space-saving move that defines it: the chairs are dimensioned to slide fully under the glass top when not in use, collapsing the whole set to roughly the table’s own footprint. Between meals it occupies a corridor-friendly rectangle; at dinner it seats four with cushioned support. Both working surfaces — glass above, PU leather below — wipe clean with a cloth, and assembly follows a numbered-parts manual that assumes no prior experience with a hex key.
The dossier
In a small room, an opaque table reads as a block; a glass top reads as open floor. That is the practical reason glass dining sets dominate the compact-kitchen category.
